Uladzimir Sinkevich

Uladzimir Sinkevich was born in 1986 in Minsk (Belarus) und started learning the cello at the age of six. He studied with Vladimir Perlin in Minsk, then with Martin Löhr and Wolfgang Boettcher at the Universität der Künste Berlin and between 2009 to 2011 was a member of the Karajan Akademie of the Berliner Philharmoniker. Other artistic influences included masterclasses with Bernard Greenhouse, Yo-Yo Ma, Frans Helmerson, David Geringas and Wenn-Sinn Yang. Uladzimer is a prizewinner of many international competitions, including among others First Prize and the Judges Award at the International Isang Yun Competition in Korea, 2012. In 2011 Uladzimir was awarded the job of Principal Cello with the Munich Radio Orchestra, then in 2022 he switched to a position in the Berlin Philharmonic.
